Human Resources Internship (Closed)

Location: Dandenong, Victoria

Work Type: 2 - 3 days per week (120 hours)

Rate: $25 daily travel & meal allowance

About the host company:

The host company is one of the established civil engineering firm in Dandenong with experience ranging from the smallest to the largest projects. Working with government contracts (including Vicroads), the firm have experience in the execution of the following kind of works; Road Works, Detector Loops, Traffic Signals and Conduit Installations.

The Opportunity:

As part of the placement, the successful applicant will receive:

Placement Activities & Responsibilities:

Successful candidates can expect to participate in the following activities;

  • Updating training material and documentation
  • Updating induction materials and documentation
  • Auditing and review of compliance documentation
  • Administration support around organisation’s OHS system & supply/contractor management
  • Attending ad hoc meetings

What Are We Looking For:

  • Strong report writing skills
  • Skills in Microsoft products (particularly Word)

The successful student should:

  • Have a passion for policies and procedures/IR/Training
  • 3rd year HR student/Masters

  • Working between Monday to Friday each week. Days negotiable.
